More Christmas Cards & Projects with Julia Watts
I have also attended a couple of workshops in Yardley Gobion near Milton Keynes, with Julia Watts. Once again I have had a fantastic time and I have learnt so many new techniques which have been outside of my comfort zone, but I do so love learning new things!
Anyway, here are a sample of the cards and projects we have made.

Workshop with John Lockwood
I thought it would be nice to include some of the cards I have made earlier in the year at some workshops. Back in October I attended a class with John Lockwood which was hosted by the Crafting for Pleasure group in Bristol, run by Bev Mizen and I had a fantastic day.
These are the cards we made on that day.
For this card we used:
We then went on to make another card - it was great to not be doing another Christmas card!!
These are the cards we made on that day.
For this card we used:
- Sue Wilson Classic Poinsettia die
- Colour cloud - basil leaf, lemon meringue and frosty jade
- CE Double sided adhesive sheets
- Sue Wilson pierced squares
- Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Snow (I think!)
- Blue white American Seam Binding coloured with Colour Cloud basil leaf

We then went on to make another card - it was great to not be doing another Christmas card!!
For this card we used:
- Sue Wilson Pierced Squares
- Sue Wilson Heraldic Square
- Sue Wilson Charming Lace Trim Configuration Die
- Sue Wilson Foldover Flower Diagonal
- Cardstock - coconut white, peach and white
- Embossing folder - can't remember which one!
- Sue Wilson Stamps to Die For - Regal Blossom inner & outer stamp
- White felt & black twine
I had a lot of fun making this card but I did find it had a lot of different elements which took me quite a while to put together. Here are a couple of close ups to show more of the detail.
I hope you have enjoyed sharing the cards I have done so far - I know I have enjoyed doing them!
Until next time

Christmas Classes
I have recently started running card making classes for some of the volunteers at work, and we meet once a month to have some fun crafty time. There are currently only a few of us but think it may grow as people get to know how much fun we have!
The last class we ran was at the beginning of December and everyone did a fabulous job of their cards.
This is what we made:
We used the following to make this card:
Memory box die Deer in the Trees
Sue Wilson Merry Christmas die
Sue Wilson - Double Pierced Squares
Double sided Stick It!

In the beginning ....................
Well I thought it was about time I started my own blog to record what I get up to in my crafty life ........................ and also my horsey and work life!
You will have to bear with me whilst I work out how all this works
Today I have spent nearly all day in my craft room finishing off my Christmas cards. It's been a hectic few weeks at work arranging Christmas parties and making gifts for all the members at work! I have made about 65 bags using a template I got from one of Julia Watts workshops and some Sue Wilson striplets, that I just love!
Well back to the craft room to complete the last few cards
