All White!

Well another card from last weekend - I love this one!  I always think the white on white cards look so stylish.

This card actually took quite a lot of work, as there were lots of elements to it.

Firstly, I cut the Sue Wilson Classic Weaving die and did the weaving that is at the back of the card - I love this detail and was the first time I had used this die.  Next I cut the Ornate Pierced Squares and layered elements of this die up, followed by the New Zealand Hamilton die.  Finally we cut the Orange Blossom complete and open petals and arranged them with the Laurel Leaves.
Finally I heat embossed the sentiment from the Petite Lavish Sentiments in silver. To finish it off I placed white 8mm white pearls on the flowers and in the corners of the card.

I hope you like this card as much as I enjoyed doing it!  White on white is definitely one of my favourites ;-)

Well that's all for now but thank you for stopping by to share my creations.

Take care

From the Heart ................

Phill Martin released a new range of new dies called From the Heart, and I have been playing with the Happy Birthday die, which is lovely.  They cut beautifully and I love the simplicity of them.

I think I have a slight addiction to the periwinkle foundation cardstock, so will try to mix it up a bit with my next creation!

I die cut the sentiment, once in the coloured card and once in the white and then layered them up to give a drop shadow, and then felt that it needed something at the bottom of the card so used one Gemini Phoenix die and as I had some of the Delicate Daisies left over from a previous card I decided to use these too.

The recipe for this card is as follows:

Cardstock:  Foundations Periwinkle card, Centura Pearl Card
Dies:           Dies by Sue Wilson - Gemini Phoenix die
From the Heart - Happy Birthday die
Dies by Sue Wilson - Delicate Daisies Complete
                   Petals & Open Petals

Hope you like it.

Demo Day with Julia & John - 9th January 2016

Had a really busy few weeks - just before my birthday hubby and I went away for the weekend and just happened, in passing (!) to drop in on Julia Watts who was holding a sale and demo day, who was very ably helped out by John Lockwood.

They did some fantastic demo's and as per normal they did some amazing sample.

I hope you are getting ready for photo overload ;-)

This is one of my favourites!
